Introduction
The Allen Valley Emergency First Responders Scheme is a group of volunteers and support staff, trained and equipped in emergency life support and resuscitation skills. Emergency First Responders work alongside and at the direction of North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) as an aid to reduce critical response times.
Allen Valley First Responders are summoned to category 'A' and 'B' emergencies and cover Allendale, Allenheads, Spartylea, Carrshields, Keenley, Whitfield, Langley and the immediate surrounding rural areas.
